Welcome aboard.
I assume there is a missing question here: "What do I need to do to make it work?"
The '86 TPI base and the '89 heads have different angles on the center two bolts on each side. You can either elongate those holes on the '86 base until the bolts will fit; or you can send me your '86 base and I'll send you the '87 base I have in my garage attic, which will bolt right up to your '89 heads (I'm serious about that, by the way).
The chip has to be for an '86-style TPI and computer, or it won't do you much good. Your '86 305 chip will most likely work just fine, though.
The factory 305 and 350 injectors were rated for different flows. But, a simple solution is to replace or modify the pressure regulator so it can be adjusted. With higher pressure, the 305 injectors (19 lbs) will work just fine on an otherwise stock 350 (factory used 22 lb injectors on 350's). It could be argued the 305 injectors will actually work better.
Good luck.
