Is it completley legal i california to go to a bigger v6 and if no how hard to get around it?

Axle/Gears: 3.55 posi / 3.23

do a search for KED85 & his 2.8-3.4 swap boogie. he's in cali & had his car pass smog. just reuse all the intake/ignition parts (which you'll have unless you also swap the engine harness & ecm) & no one will be the wiser unless they pull #'s off the block.
