The 305 TPI is getting up the in the miles and I want to know what I have to do to make the LB9 into the L98. Can I just buy the L98 engine complete from GM. Is there a cheaper way. Can i just but the L98 block and use my TPI unit. Help.

What do I have to do to get a L98. I am looking for some more HP. I am either going to rebuild or go for the L98.

all you should need is the 350 longbock and 350 injectors

that and a 1985 PROM from a corvette because the 85 f-body was not available with a 350 and 86+ ECM's use a faster computer

 

Thats all I need. Seriously. Only a 350 block with a better computer. How much do u think that will cost. Will it run the same as the 350 TPI L98 thats in the camaros. Or will I get more HP.

IMHO, its better to buy it brand new if you are going for such a swap

longblock 350, ECM, and fuel injectors

that should be it

 

How much do u think that will all cost

Id say 500 for the block. 250 for the injectors. and 200 for the computer. What do u guys think it will cost.
