i rebuilt my 82 305 (nice upgrades btw ) but here is the really silly question....i cant remember where to put the brackets to mount my power sterring pump. i mean i know where it goes its just i cant remember the way the brackets mounted to the block and pump...my garage is a mess and i moved evrything around and now i cant remember the way it goes on so...can anybody post a pic or pics of a similar engine compartment? thanks

 

not really a silly question, i've done this for years and ps pump brackets always give me more trouble than anything else. you might find a pic in a manual or look at another car or truck, long as the year is right they tend to be pretty generic. sorry i don't have a pic or anything more for you, good luck

 

Theres one on the back that attaches to the front exhaust bolt, and to one of the bolt holes on the front bottom of the engine block. Thats the one I always look at strange for a few minutes until I remember how it goes on there.
