'91 LO3 to a '88 to '92 truck motor
I have a '91 RS with a crappy 305 tbi, and I know of a 350 engine out of a 88 - 92 chev. truck that has the center mount style valve covers and heads. So what I was wondering is if I use my 305 tbi on the 350 truck motor what will I need to do to boost the air fuel mixture? Is it as simple as getting a performance chip and that's it? IF so where do I get one?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Garrett

You might be able to run it with just a fuel pressure increase, but it's better to have the 350 TBI Truck Injectors, and fine-tune with pressure.Best to have a chip and correct injectors with adjustable pressure regulator. I'm running a 300 HP 350 with TBI, truck injectors, Turbo City Throttle Body and AFPR and a custom chip.
My custom chip is from Ed Wright Automotive, (Fastchip.com)
