'92 3.1L V-6 swap-out

I currently have a '92 3.1 V-6 that i'm fixing up. Anybody know where I can buy a 5.7L engine (either brand new or used)? I've looked alot on eBay, and there are alot of engines for sale for 93+ cars but not 3rd gens, so I'm at a dead end. Any help would be appreciated. Also, besides 82-92 camaro/firebird engines, what other engines would be an easy swap? I've heard Corvette engines work, but is there anything else? Thanks yall...

i depends on intended use and most important how much cash you have.

any small block chevy with a trans from that corresponding car or truck is a good choice.

alot of times its good to get a wrecked car take what you need and sell whats left. most times you'd be money ahead instead of trying to buy each piece individually.

What engine you decide to put in depends on.
1) Is it to be emission legal?
2) Carb or injection?
3) What are you primarily using the car for?
4) Most important is how much $$$$$$$
