I have a 1989 Camaro rs. I'm going to be replacing my old 2.8L with a new 2.8L motor soon and was wondering what would be needed to put in a 3.1L or a 3.4L engine in instead of a 2.8? Will everything bolt onto the 3.4 from the 2.8? Will it bolt up to the motor mounts and tranny? I fungured I would get new fuel injectors either way but will the 3.4L need bigger fuel injectors or fuel pump? Any help or information will help.

Check out the technical articles. There is one that specifically addresses a 3.4 swap. I replaced the 2.8 in my Jeep with a 3.4 and IMHO the 3.4 is a far better engine. BTW, you may want to check out the V6 board.
