What u think this would run for quarter mile. I want like high 12s or low low 13s. So any suggestions please

The heads on that engine are a really old design, missing flat surfaces and tapped holes you need to bolt your serpentine accessory brackets to.

o! well i got some iron vortec heads lying around i put on instead any guesses? would that lower the hp

Axle/Gears: 7.5" Auburn 4.10 Posi-Traction
Wouldn't expect more than low 14's high 13's with that combination.

The heads are old 882's. really stink.

the vortecs would be a big improvement. Will add about 50-80hp and loads of torque over the 882's.

Then it could run 12's.
