2.8 to 94 intercepter 350 ?

how hard will this be to do other then the obvious as in a reg swap. my concern is since i wana run my car with no computer that the 94 motor is either gona have all these plugs and crap on the block that might cause it to run wrong. i want to take the 94 motor and put a set of racing head on it the guy has for it and bolt a edelbrock intake on and either do a big 4bbl or 3x3 set up, is this possible and other then front shocks, what else will i have teo look out for when doing this? i want a hot rod not a new motor is this possible

i went from a 3.1L to a 305 V-8 and it is not computer controled. you get here is a lit of things that the ECM controls that you will have to wire up to work.

Trans Lock-up
Speedo
Fuel pump

you will have to remove the wireing harness and find all the wires to the tech, motor temp, oil pump, ad others i can't think of right now. go to www.crazymike.myip.org/car.htm to see a list of my mods and a pic of the swap.

I have done a 2.8 to 350 swap. You need to get new V8 motor mounts and mount them in the forward location on the crossmember. You need to get stiffer V8 coil springs for the front. You need to move the brake line that is going across the crossmember so you can mount the new motor mounts. If you are running a carb., you need to remove the in-tank fuel pump. You may also want to run new fuel lines from the tank because on the carburetored cars with a mechanical fuel pump, the feed runs up the driver's side and then crosses over the transmission and finishes coming up the passenger's side. You can check out my site for any other problems that I had, but i'm pretty sure that I covered them all. http://mcas7.tripod.com

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

If it's a '94 motor isn't that an LT1? Just pull the harness and the computer from the donor car and keep the fuel injection. It's much more driveable and gas friendly. Why ruin a nice LT1?
