Happy with 307
Happy with 307
I just want to thank those of you who helped me with my questions about swapping the old 305. I know is wrong but I street tested the car this weekend and its running great. Much better than before. I raced my brothers 89 Mustang GT which is currently running 14.0s he gave me the go and had him through third gear and caught me by a car at the end. This is going to be my daily driver so Im just happy that im not going to get spanked by 5.0s any longer.
thanks
We are thinking it should do mid to high 14s what do you guys think?

Depending upon what's in/on the engine, I wouldn't be surprised at all that you're happy with it, or that it will be in the 14's (depending upon gearing, traction, driver, etc.).

Glad to hear you are happy with your engine
I think an engine with about 250hp should have no problem getting into the very low 14's with the right gears, so if you have more than that, 14's should be easy. If it has been rebuilt (i didn't watch the 307 thread very closely) it will be noticably faster after the engine has been properly broken in than it is right now.
