I came across a web page that showed some upgrade tricks for the 2.8. The web page is www.4x4wire.com/tech/60degreev6/index.htm
The guy says it should give close to 50 added HP. I was wondering if anyone had tried these methods and what the results were.

 

You might have better luck with this on the V6 board. I swapped a 3.4 for the 2.8 in my Jeep and was very happy, although I doubt it was any where near 50 horses. That 3.4 is a much better engine and any performance upgrades for the 2.8 (and I don't think there are many) would work on the 3.4.
