basic 383 setup

fastburn heads
tpis miniram III
zz409 tpis cam
1.5 rockers

and all the other common stuff you would need or want. i've raced it twice at the track but with 18's and a 3.0 60' range it isn't practicle. on the street it runs very well.

i would guess tuned right with good tires a very low 12 or possibly high 11 if driven right. that would be without the power adders of course.

thanks again guys!

Great job. Please post details. L98 with LT1 intake? or LT1? Where did you get the intake duct? I need one for my setup.

the cai is made of 4" stainless tubing that has been mandrel bent to fit. matches the 4" exhaust and 1-3/4 headers.

You did a really nice job! I have 383 in my 87' IROC, just installed it 2 months ago. I wish I could eliminate all the smog crap like you did and run a miniram, but I live in CALIFORNIA the smog sheriffs of the world!! So I have to have all the ugly piping for the smog pump etc!!!! It sucks! I am using TPIS's zz9 cam, but wanted the zz409, again CALIFORNIA stopped me!!!! I'd move but can't. Anyway I am glad to see other people doing really great things to their 3rd gens, best Camaros ever built.

Glad you are happy with the car. The engine compartment looks very clean. I did a good job with the MiniRam, fuel rails and TB if I do say so myself.
I fired the IROC for about 30 seconds today just to hear it run. All the people came running out to see what was making all the noise. I had the headers uncapped so it was really loud. I could not hear the supercharger whine the exhaust was so loud. I am going to button everything back up in the next few weeks so I can get it back on the road. See you soon.

custom made 4" tubing.... parts to make it are around 80 minus the 100 for coating and the 40 for the K&N.
