2.8L v6 w/ 700r4 to 267ci sbc v8 w/th350

From what I have searched I cannot use the v6 driveshaft, question is, can I just go to a junkyard and get a v8 driveshaft, or will it not work with my th350.

You will probably have to find one from a 82 V8 car with a 200 transmission. Ones from cars with 700s or T-5s will not work.

Doing a V8 swap to a 267 is like running a whole lot of maze, as much maze as a 350 to be precise, but there's only a small fraction as much cheese at the end.... you must be doing this for pactice or something, rather than going faster.

Actually my brother is doing this because the 267 has a low c/r, and was given the motor for free. He rebuilt it and is going to throw twin turbos on it. Its his first turbo setup so its really just a test subject while he builds up a forged 350. When the 350's done hes just going to crank up the boost, test things out, and see when the engine blows lol.

That sounds like fun! Where did he get the turbos?

Im not sure where he got the turbos actually. He only has one for this application right now, the other we are getting after we break in the engine and get everything worked out. He has another one but its way to big, hes planning on single turboing a 502 to put in a s10.

Another question:
The th350 he has he says isnt made for a torque arm, whare do attach the torque arm to? Will we have to make a bracket or something?

I think there is a kit you gotta get to use a TH350/400 in a 3rdGen.

Find an 82' with a 200C Transmission and steal everything you need off that...My TH-350 bolted right in.
