305 / 350 TPI straight swap?
I have a 1990 Formula 350 and a 1991 Formula 305. (5speed tranny) I want to swap the engines, and sell the 90. Is there anything I need besides the swap of engines and ecm's, or do I need to have a custom chip made? I'm not doing the swap myself, I have a friend who has done a bunch, (mostly 70's stuff) just not the tuned port variety. Thanx in advance for any and all responses.

everything should fit right up, they are both small blocks so it will be fine. if they are both tpi then u will have to swap over the ecm and stuff but it should be fine, you have all the parts you need if u have 2 cars.

Actually you just need the knock sensor, the injectors and the chip. I think the ECU is the same. I could be wrong on that last part. But 305-350TPI's are about as easy as an engine swap gets on these cars. Also you will need the flywheel for the 350. The 350 will be in a car with an auto to start with.
