it's a 310 (305 .030 over)with 4340 forged connecting rods, 9.5:1 hypereutectic pistons, 416 casting heads with a fresh valve job, crane blue racer cam .442i/.465e 214*/224*, holley 600vs ontopa torker II intake(hey it was free!), crane energizer roller rockers, heddman long tube headers running true dual through moroso spiral muffler. future plans are to run a D1SC @ 5lbs through a fuel injection system controlled by the holley commander 950 ecu. i built this motor to **** people with 350's off. this is replacing a 178cid v6 (2.8 .040 over). that was built to **** 305 owners off. it ran well. *holds hat over heart, looking solemnly upward.*

honestly, your about right, it seems that i will be building bigger and badder motors for the rest of my life. they will probably stay in the small block range, but whos to say that i wouldn't through a 4.125 bore/ 4.00 stroke combo together, i will do it just to **** big block owners off! hahaha.
oh man, the only thing i lack now is money! the d1sc is next though, for real.

oh, it won't ever see over 6500, don't worry. i know guys running 7000+ with 250shot on stock crank, of course, it's not a 305.

cranked her up yesterday, that thing sounds mean as all get out. i got open headers right now, my exhaust hasn't been recieved from jegs just yet. i got to do some more things ie: alternator, powersteering pump, water in the radiator, you know, little things like that. i am very excited though cause the car has not made a sound on it's own since late january.
