Will this work?
I've got a 400 and a 350 block, one of which I am planning on rebuilding for my project and I was wondering with a TPI on top which would be best for low 13s?
P.S. Yeah I'm aware that the TPI can't breath enough for a 105 but it's all I have at the moment.

Uh, if you have the crank for the 400 then put that into the 350. A 383 will give you plenty of torque to compliment the TPI but will spin freely for days provided you pair it with the right cam and other stuff. If not, then build up the 400. I am assuming it is the SBC so it would be easy to find parts.

i would just sell the TPI setup with the intake runners injectors computer and ECM and with that money get a Carb intake and 750 holley pumper ot a sped demon. you could be ablt to get all that and maybe have some money left over for a cam (not sure how much the holley 750 pumper would cost but my holley 600 costed like $350)

If you want a mini ram setup, just go with the LT1 modified intake. That will be cheaper than a Mini-ram. And perform nearly the same. Or go with a Holley Stealth Ram.
Course, the stock computer is gonna FREAK if you change the combo its been tuned for without re-tuning the computer.

well it will work on the 400 but in stock form will choke the hell out of it. they choked the stock 305s and 350s above what, 4500 RPM was it? I tihnk....anywho, with work im sure it would be possible, but with the money involved, some form of intake off of a newer set up would be ideal. I hope I am correct in what im saying.
