Its not necessary but it would simplify the wiring in some respects because it would put everything in one place, but its going to be more work to add that along with everything else.
It looks to be the entire underhood chassis wiring harness. I don't see anything for the PCM harness in the photo, but its hard to tell.
*Edit* And upon further inspection, thats what it is listed as, "Item: Under Hood wire harness "

I doubt its going to be a direct plug-and-play type of thing, but it shouldn't be too difficult to wire in just the fuse box with the PCM. I would get rid of all of the 4th gen chassis wiring.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Other than the fuel pump, powersteering lines, and fuel lines, sounds like you should be good.

i am doing my swap without the fuse box. To date. I have cut the connectors off for the fuse box, deleted 90% of those wires since most aren't needed. The only thing I neded to put a fuse on was the pcm, injector x2, + 1 other, pink power wires. I put an inline fuse on these. prob not needed, I did anyway. (1 fuse for all those wires).. Then I already had dual elec fans, so I used those wires and relays. These relays are the same as the MAF relays, so you will have 2 extras.. at least on my 89 TA

Ok thanks. Sorry my question was a little misleading. I meant, the whole wiring harness that was listed on the auction....does it look like the engine harness? I meant will I need any other wiring to complete the swap as far as the engine goes? Also, the fuel pump. Will I have to switch my TBI pump to a TPI/LT1 one or could I just add another external fuel pump. Seems the tank's gonna be a bi#ch to get out... Does the TPI/LT1 FP just drop right in and plug in no problems?? Thanks a bunch. How's the site comin'? I haven't had a chance to check it out lately.

I swaped from a tpi so I didn't have to touch the fuel pump.. but if you have tbi I believe all you have to do is put on an inline fuel pump. so no need to drop tank. Verify that 'cause like I say I went from a tpi so I avoided that.
The ebay harness looks like everything EXCEPT the engine harness, its hard to tell though. You'll definitely need to change out the pump, or add an inline as you said. I went ahead and got a stock replacement TPI pump and changed it out. Really wasn't that bad.
I've got the transmission section up on the site, waiting for some photos I've got on the way to do cooling, a/c, and powersteering. After that is wiring, but it will be at least midweek before I can get back to work on it. Stupid research papers
