I got a problem with this 383 swap
Ok im told i need to switch to a t56 cause i cant find a HD t5 or parts newhere to hold a 383. So i have had my engine balanced for the t5 flywheel alrdy. It doesnt look like they added any weight to the flywheel tho just the crank and balancer. Do you think it would throw it off balance to get a t56 flywheel?

You need to know if the engine was set up for stock 400 balance; or for stock 305/350 balance (neutral); or "custom balanced" using the existing flywheel.
Does your 383 have a 1-piece rear main seal, or 2-piece? Is it a stock GM carnk, or aftermarket? How long are the rods?
There's too many possibilities for anyone to be able to guess at it, even looking at the motor from the outside.

Its a zz4 block, scat crank,6.0 h beam eagle rods, the summit race balancer its for a internal or external balance. It had a weight bolted to it and they did change that weight some and add weight to the crank but i didnt see anything done to the flywheel. The flywheel is a new stock unit.
