well i would spend my money on a cam because the motor is out of the car and it is easier to do and i would get a set of alum heads to go with it

i would look into getting a 12 bolt or a 9" if you plan on putting the gas on the car

dads 94 z28 we blew up the 10bolt with the best parts that were out there

so we went to a 9" and i am getting a 12bolt at xmas

and a good converter would be something i would get say around a 3000 or 3400

Really? How so?

You can get that much power out of a stock L98 with a carb and a cam change. Or, for a few coins, some other FI system such as a MiniRam that costs less, gives more power, and is easer to maintain.

"Some cash".... what kind of a budget do you have?

Do a google on LT1 intake and check out the website where a guy is converting the LT1 intakes to work with a distributor. They have a dyno video of a GTA with a 350 with a cam, headers and catback making 299 hp and 353 torque at the wheels.

That is, if you want to keep the FI

Get a MiniRam. You'll be much happier than with the SuperPITARam.

Geeez....that's over a grand for the intake and the fuel rails.

You can get an LT1 intake and fuel rails drilled for a distributor for like 400 and get almost the same amount of HP increase.
