need wiring help

I bought my car a few months ago, thinking it only need the engine & trans, come to find out the SOB ripped out almost ALL of the engine compartment wiring, getting the motor out, he even took the battery cables. there is a stump of wires at the corner of the pass, fender near the windshield & some wires coming out over the trans tunnel in the firewall. but thats about it ...... fortunately I've manged to track down my car's twin in a junkyard, same year, engine & trans as mine. my question is... how hard is it to transfer the junker's wiring into my car without splicing a lot or shorting out If i'm ever gonna' get a motor in it I need to fix this
any help is appreciatted

Only fubar'd if you can't read a schematic.

easy, just finished an LT1 swap, two wires needed to be hooked up not including, 3 for gauges!!!

it's easy, lay out what wires (plus colors and best guess on gauge) and we should be able to tell you where and what they are.

Also Chilton/Helms are good to own!!

I've managed to repair some of the wiring using the wiring out of my parts car as a guide, and the junkyard said they'd sell me every thing I need for $30, but I'm still a loooong way from putting an engine in the car.

the junkyard jipped me, what about swapping a TPI motor in instead?

If the wiring you just tried was beyond your grasp, a TPI swap is way out of the question.
