cam questions

i am having a 76 model 350 built to go in my 92 rs...i am keeping my tbi setup.howells engine development is doing me a custom computer for it...im not going real high performance with it. im getting mixed messages on my componets to use. the machine shop building the engine for me is letting me do it a piece at a time kinda thing. it already punched 30 over.and i am ready to buy a cam for it.im going to use gm perf parts heads(jegs#809-12558060). outta jegs they told me i needed to use a computer cam.the max lift on the heads is .475"...jegs suggested to use comp cams#12-262-4 which is a computer cam...I need to know if this is what i need or not...im new to the computer vehicles but want my third gen to be a worthy speciman...I just need help with parts to put in it to make it reliable.thanks for any help
