87 IROC-Lower hose for LT-1 swap???

I am just finishing up an lt-1 swap into my 87 IROC...........I had read that the best lower radiator hose to use was from a 93 F-body..........well the top hose worked fine, but the lower hose is too short by about 2 to 3 inches...............is there a hose I can buy that will fit and look correct? I know I can always add a piece of pipe or some other fix, but if there's a "right" hose for the job I rather use that. ANy help would be appreciated. Thanks

If you are getting close to needing a new radiator, I would replace it now with a radiator or a 93. You only need to make minimal mods to make a fourth gen radiator fit in a third gen and it simplifies the plumbing. Then just get hoses for the fourth gen.

I also used the 95 model radiator as well, this way I had all the fittings to fit the waterpump and also used the fan setup from the '95 as well, plus the underhood fusebox so the PCM had the plug to turn the fans on and off, plus I have all the wiring for my A/C which is also controlled by the PCM.

I bought a new radiator last year............I was running a tuned port 305..........it really ran great............till I cooked it at a drving school............so the radiator I have is going to have to lived with for now.

95 vette upper and lower worked on mine with the TPI rad.
I do have the f-body water pump on the LT1.

Lower is dealer only #10278338.

I actually found a hose at NAPA yesterday that works. I have no idea what car it fits, but it was 1 1/2" on the bottom, and 1 1/4" on top and it was really long.............I cut about 6 inches off it............and it looks good............Unfortunately the upper hose that I got for a 93 F-body didn't fit very well with the corvette engine............the old 92 corvette hose looks just right, so i ordered a new one for that spot............I'm also hoping my heater hose routing works ok.............that was a handlful!
