Serpente setup help on my vette motor swap
The serpente setup I have off a later iroc will not fit on the corvette motor. The bolt pattern on the head is slightley diffrent. Its the passanger side for the AC, tensioner, and smog pump. The only thing I can do is make a bracket which I really dont feel like doing but is their another alternative I can do. Has anyone had this problem?
86 Iroc w/ 87 vette motor
Serpente set up is off a 90 I think. Motor had no cold start injector but im sure that dosent matter should be all the same

Bumping this back up.
I don't understand why you would have any problems mounting the serp setup, after removing the non-serp waterpump. Other than possibly needing to drill & tap one hole. Maybe someone else can provide some insight.

Model doesn't make a difference. With the serpentine, the alternator moved from the driver's to the passenger side.
