350 tpi or 350 carb'd?
hey, i just bought a 1987 Camaro w/ the F41 package, 305 LG4, 4 speed auto...im planning on swapping in a 350 tpi or 350 carb'd engine, but i have a few questions... the questions are:
1) Which engine would be easier to swap???
2) Which would make the most hp & tq???
3) What all would i need to get, in order to do this swap???
thanks in advance

Carbed would be easier. Personally I like fuel injection and will never put a carb on another one of my vehicles. Power wiese depends on them engine. Are you building an engine? Buying a used or new engine? Depending on what you want to reuse you wont need that many parts. I guess I need more info on what your goals are.

1st, you need to be realistic. 500 RWHP & RWTQ from a used engine isn't.
2nd, the easiest way to put in a used 350 would be to put the longblock under your current control system. You can use an aftermarket intake manifold if you want, which might be wise if your used engine is '86-earlier, although not a problem if it is '87-later (and not Vortec heads).
If you don't have plans to spend about $1000 on exhaust upgrades, start making them now.
