88 maf harness to 92 tbi body
ok guys so i haven't had time (apart from remove the engine from the 88 iroc) to start installing the harness and computer into the 92 (originally tbi) body.
will the 88 maf harness and sensors from the the 88 motor work correctly with the 92 body? (im stickin to maf)
im sure it will, and all the connections fit. my mechanic is having high doubts because of 1 or 2 connectors on the socket of the harness that aren't provided on the hook up to the body. these guys don't like messin with stuff, theyr kinda like "keep it stock" type guys, sometimes i dunno why i use them! lol
i don't want to pay them labour to try it if it won't work, im sure it will and i hope u guys think this is a stupid qeustion so i can go ahead and get her runnin finally. thanks!!!!!

From what I've gathered here, there aren't any harness-to-body issues. Can we assume you're getting the ECM as well?
I ran into difficulties putting '86 equipment into an '82 body - ECM pass-through connector was bigger for the '86 harness, and the dash-to-rear-body harness connectors changed (radically).
I have a bud who did a '90 RS TBI to '91-'92-like SD conversion. I thought he was nuts, because he repinned the TBI harness to fit the TPI engine and ECM. But, he didn't report any other issues with TPI in a TBI body.
