Double check me 305 TBI to 350 TPI
So im buying a wrecked 1989 iroc with a MAF 350 TPI,
I plan on putting this into my 1989 RS vert. I just wanted to check and make sure i dont get any surprises. Since ill have both complete cars sitting right next to each other this should be easy. I plan to simply pull The TPI and yank the tranny off, then pull my TBI slap the t-5 on the TPI and slide it back in. I have the complete harness, ECU, fuel tank, exhaust so it should be relatively straightforward right ? I dont need to cut any wires or anything correct ?

You won't need to cut any wires. However, if the fuel pump in the RS is the original factory unit, you'll probably need to drop the tank and put in a TPI pump. The reason I say "original factory unit" is some aftermarket replacements will use the TPI pump for TBI applications - works fine with TBI, but the factory TBI pump won't support TPI.

Im not worried about dropping the tank and replacing it, ive done it so many times i could prob. do it in my sleep, ive done it about 5 times over the span of about 3 years
