I got a 3rd-gen that's gonna be resurrected with an LT1 or LS1, T-56. I've read millions-jazillions of reader reports and it looks pretty straight forward, but I got one MEGA problem - I ain't got the TIME!! I live in East Bend, NC. I got a buddy that has a garage, lift, and tons of tools that can gimme a hand putting the motor and tranny in place. It's the wiring, exhaust, A/C and all that crap that I don't feel like screwing with. So, PLEASE - if there's anybody around East Bend, come forward and gimme an e-mail address, phone # or something, and a ballpark estimate of what the damage would be ($$). It'll be a while before I get started, but I'm gonna get everything arranged so when I do decide on what driveline to drop in, I'll have a place to get it towed to and get it all finished up. I'll be getting the motor, tranny, ECM, and accessories. One hint I could use here also, I no longer have the engine mounts. Do I need to get the mounts from the 4th gen or 3rd gen, and is there any specifics to the bolt pattern or is it just bolt it up and drop it in? Any help here would be MEGA-APPRECIATED!
