just put on new heads
i just put on a brand new set of world products sportsmen 2 heads....and they smoke pretty bad when i start it up....i think that has somethign to do with me not adjusting the valves correctly......would that mean i made em too tight or too lose?

It probably means there's something wrong with the valve seals.

It doesnt really sound like a valve issue. Like he said, sounds like valve stem seals. Did you get the heads assembled or bare? If you got them assembled I'd be called tech and raising hell. If you assembled them yourself then you probly didnt get the seals on right.
Before you do anything, I'd pull the valve cover and pull each rocker off and check those seals.
