Some will say carburetor is easier, I don't think I'd say that.
Remove the engine, harness, and ECM, put in TPI engine, harness and ECM. Drop the fuel tank and put in a TPI pump.

First, please do not post all in capital letters. Its bad manners.
Second, there is a tech article on this website that will get you started.
Third, there are hundred of threads on this forum that talk about how to do it, so search and the world will be yours.

ull need a tpi fuel sender and High-Pressure 255L/Hr integral Walbro pump, is a good new fuel pump. um the body fuel lines are gonna b ok, and if u can find a 350tpi just get the wiring harness comp, and obviously the motor aha. and air lida and all that crap. the radiator should be fine from ur 305. and use the fuel lines from the 350, they run from the body fuel lines to the fuel rails , jsut fyi 5/16 of an inch diameter of the return line and the delivery fuel line is 3/8 of an inch. oh and if ur gonna be running an auto trans get a detent cable for the 350 tpi, and the tpi throttle cable!!!!! and of hosing like ps and ac can convert over, and obviously water hosing the main out let water hose youll have to buy it is diffrent from the tbi or just use the one off the 350 tpi. oh and a nother use ful tip keep in mind where VACumme lines go, like to the break master cylinder, or the carbon canster, and other stuff like that
i belive that is it if u got any question feel free to drop me a line good luck

The sending unit itself is the same. Only the pump is different. All of the lines on the car itself are the same.Originally Posted by 1985z28FordKila

I think you are trading one set of problems for another. And, the disadvantages of carb go on forever, while the inconveniences of the TPI swap occur only once.

a good question to ask would be what are your goals for this car? Will it be a daily driver? What are you trying to build here?
