tpi into non tpi car

tpi into non tpi car

ive got an 86 firebird 305 5spd, carb motor, i just purchased an 86 tpi engine with a 350 block, so it has the 305 heads, the injectors were changed, i was just wondering how hard the motor would be to swap in, it has the computer with it, and all accesories, sensors ect.

i know ill have to have a chip made for the 5spd, how much do those run? any ideas how much power the motor should make?

If the harness came out of a bird,you should have no problems at all.
Camaro and firebird tpi engines have different eng. harnesses.Only because of batt. location.Camaro=pass. Firebird=driverside.

yup came out of a t/a, dyno 2000 says the motor should make 250hp to the fly with lg4 heads and the 305 cam
