alrite i got an 84 z28 that i got a 75 stingray 350 for but the problem is the dipstick is on the drivers side. first problem is im sure all u guys no the 305 exhaust manifold doesnt bolt up. second problem is i dont have the exhaust manifold for the 75. so question is what headers can i buy that will clear the dipstick, or will i have to do sum tinkering to get any pair of headers to fit? its getting to be a real headache and any bit of knowledge from u guys would help. keep in mind i am from new jersey so inspection will also be an issue.

Had same problem, got headers and y-pipe from summit racing,These were the least expensive headers available with matching y-pipe 109.95 each,flow tech is brand header #BIG-11102FLT,y-pipe # BIG-11102YFLT, Y-pipe goes directly into factory cat. converter, very tight fit, used extra thick header gaskets , no leaks and or clearance problems, more expensive headers may go on a little easier.Plenty of dipstick clearance.
