Need to identify a motor
A friend of mine picked up an 84 Z28 about 4 months ago from Florida and the previous owner had swapped the stock 305 with a carbed 350. This is the first time my friend has purchased an American Muscle car and really knows very little about them. He wants to buy some headers but doesn't know what 350 is in there. What's the easiest way for him to I.D. his motor?
Here's a pic he just sent me. I know the angle sucks cuz you can't really see anything.

And here's a vid of it.

Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

cant really tell what 350 is in there unless we have block numbers and head numbers. its just a 350 almost all headers for a 350 will fit im pretty sure.
edit: tell him to get an open element.

Got a specific location where he can locate those casting numbers on the block? The casting numbers on the heads are under the valve covers right?
Thanks again guys.

The casting number on the block will verify it's actually a 4" bore block. That's as much as you're ever going to know about the engine without taking things apart.
