A few questions about a LG4 to 350 TPI
Hi everyone, I just recently bought a 87 Trans AM LG4 305. The body is in very good condition and the underside is very VERY clean. We've had the car up on lifts at my dads work (a junk yard). The car has 80,000 miles and is a tenessee car, so no rust anywhere!
I'm planning on tearing her down this winter and swapping the engine. I'm pretty set on moving to a TPI system, however right now my car is carb'd and has the digital dash. How would I go about swapping in the TPI, replacing the harnest and etc to where my digital dash will still work? Any ideas/info would help alot! Thank you!

The best way would be with a 350 TPI donor 'Bird. Got any available?
Any particular reason for TPI? The carb will support a lot more power, and being computer controlled, you aren't going to give up that much fuel economy. TPI is an expensive system to get any power out of, while the carb is a piece of cake. Put a 350 shortblock, headers, cam, & intake (with air cleaner upgrade), you'd basically have what I'm running.
