need help guys with motor build

i have a 91 camaro rs im taking the 305 tbi out and putting a 350 in its bored over .040 called summit up and got a parts list and told them i was looking to race at the track on the week ends so he gave me the list of parts and said it would put out around 450 hp at 6100 rpm and about 425 rwt at 4200rpm and i think he is full of it here is the list if you could tell me what you all think please

1.its a heavy duty HEI distributor with a 50,000v coil 5.7 amp part num
# 850001r
2.multi-spark digital capacitive discharge ignition box with a 520v primary/45,000v secondary with rev limiter #sum-850600
3.cam is a 218-224 #12-238-2
4.heads are 67cc 2.02:intake /1.60: and 165cc runners
# sum-15213
5. intake #sum-226008
6.gear drive #sum-g6700
7. pistons are keith black flat top bored .040 over
8. rollor rockers #sum-g6905
and i will be running 4.11 richmond gears in it with a 700r4 trans 2500 stall and looking to put trans brake on if you al would look in to this and see what you know thank you all

Is the 350 flat tappet? If cast and machined for roller lifters, I'd go with a roller cam.

The head p/n you posted isn't coming up.

This is a relatively mild build. The gear drive is a waste of money - just get a good double roller chain set-up.

450 HP is more than a bit optimistic for that cam and intake. An XE274 and RPM intake, maybe, but not the XE262 and Stage I intake. If you're talking about drag racing, I'd suggest more cam and an RPM intake, more stall, and an MSD Digital 6 box instead of the Summit box for the 2-step capability.

thank you the heads are the summit iron heads for 649.00 i think and its going to be driven on the roed was worried about the vacum for the brakes if i went with a bigger cam so you dont think i will push 400 hp

More like the 350 to 375 HP range.

Vacuum won't be a problem with the XE274. You'll want more stall, though.

Those are most likely the heads in reference. Without flow numbers, I would be inclined to agree with the 350ish hp rating.

What's the budget for this build?

with every thing its like 2,509.69 that with shift kit and stall and rings going cheap now and building a 383 next for it but that one will take time

im just looking for some thing with a little more power then my 305 but plain on building a 383 with time and money over the year and put it in over next winter but not in my third gen i would like to have a sec gen to put it in
but you think 2500 will get me around 375hp or so 350
