Will this motor work?
Ok i have a 88 Iroc 305 TPI car. I want to build a 383 for it and i found a 350 that was made between 86-87 and according to the numbers book came out of a truck or camaro. Can i use this motor to build a 383 and use my tpi from my 88?

Yes. The block doesn't really affect whether or not you can put TPI on it.
Do you have the block casting number? It probably doesn't have provision for factory roller lifters, which your '88 engine does. But it should have one-piece rear main seal, like your current engine.

The '86 blocks are unique, but most of the ones I've seen do have the provisions for the roller cam, they just usually aren't drilled and tapped. The trucks didn't get roller cams until '96, but the blocks are ready for a factory-style roller.
