How about giving PTC a call they will take good care of you at a reasonable price. They build some awesome convertors.

Re: 406 Build starts
depends on who you get. I had Edge Racings Street Edge custom converter and it ran me 554 shipped to my door. very nice midrange price converter. Cheaper stuff like TCI/B&M run 250-400 bucks, and the top end stuff is over 700-1000.
Any of the better companies will ask for your complete build specs and size the converter to your needs

yeah the duration looks good for a 406. Should be a nice cam in that motor with superam.

Re: 406 Build starts
I paid over 800 for my ATI 8". I don't know if it was worth it, but it stalls loose and then grabs hard. Gear changes make a huge difference in how it works.
If you don't already have that cam, its on craigslist for 80 bucks new. http://spokane.craigslist.org/pts/1063458772.html
