I just want to start by sayting im new to the v8 thing, ok so I purchased an 85 Iroc-z last year but never got around to dropping the 350 i bought for it in until now. my DD now has a cracked block and now im trying to fix the iroc. since i have never owned or worked on a v8 car before I have a few questions....one is what size bolts are the bellhousing bolts i need????? I was told my tranny was a 700r4... are they the 3/8 x 1 1/2??? and i know i need a flexplate but idk if i need a 163 tooth or 158???? I also need to know if there is anything that goes between the torque converter and the flexplate or if they bolt right up??? any help would be great cause as of now i dont have a car and im really low on $$$ oh yea the motor is a carb'd 350 and the original motor was a carb'd 305 so i shouldnt have much more worries after i bolt this motor in right???
