350 Swap

I own a 92 TA convertible with the 305 TPI. I plan to swap the 305 for a 350 one day. My main question is, what else will I have to swap or modify. I'm mainly concerned with the transmision, can I use the stock one? I really would like to know these answers, thanks.

The car has the stock 700-R4 transmission. The only thing I've done to it is install a shift kit.

bigger injectors, custom chip, 350 knock sensor, rebuild tranny, make sure you have a roller cam since your computer is for a roller motor. Oh yeah redo the rear end too if you have money to spare if not then that can wait.

I did this already get the 350 chip 22# injectors I used 24# switch every thing over and enjoy! also I know for a fact the 305 chip will work and you won't (notice much) of a differance. but, It will run better with the 350 chip. the injectors are only to keep you from running lean. the rest is the same if you don't think so look up both part numbers for each sensore.

Thanks for the tips. I forgot to mention that I also installed a JET Stage Two chip. Would I be able to use this chip on a 350 also? Should I ask JET?

hey whats up you have done the 305 to 350 swap? just to be sure you need a knock sensor, bigger injectors and 350 chip or custom chip right. its a 92 trans am 305 tpi ws6 converible automatic. the engine comming from and 92 trans am. it consits from the valve covers to the oil pan, help please.
