heads for mild 350
Hi I am looking for heads that will fit on a 72 350 and still work with my tpi I would like to just use gm parts to save money so is there any heads that will do this, also I will need them to be 67cc heads for it to stay at 10.0:1 compresion. If I have to how would I make the tpi fit the older style head what type of machine work would be needed and also isn't the 72 a 2 piece main seal will I run into problems with this because of mine being a one piece.
Thanks
Matt

Go with World Products S/R Torquers. They'll cost you less than GM parts, flow better, have 2.02/1.60 valves & screw-in rocker studs, are available in 67 or 76 cc chambers, and are available with '87-later bolt style to which your '87-later TPI will bolt right up (and center-bolt valve covers if you have them). Check out www.worldcastings.com .
As for the crank, just get a two-piece style 153 tooth flex plate and you're covered.

Q? Do you have concerns about spending 25cents more per gallon?
If not just use the 305 heads, thier either 64cc or 58cc and will kick the compression even higher.
