What fan will fit my car?

I have a 1985 Firebird that had a 2.8L motor but I now have a 350 motor in it. The fan from the 350 motor is too high and sticks up out of the radiator shroud about 2 1/2 inches and its a bit dangerous. I was wondering if a V6 fan will fit and be smaller so it doesn't stick up so high.

Thank You.

Did you switch your radiator shroud to one from a V8 car with a belt driven fan? If not, make sure you do. Since small blocks were offered factory in your car, whatever you find on a junkyard V8 thirdgen will fit yours. After I swapped the 2.8 in my 84 Camaro for a 350 I used the belt driven fan and fan shroud from a wrecked firebird with a 305. That setup ended up not cooling well enough while sitting in traffic, so I switched to the single electric fan setup from a thirdgen Z28. Hope some of this info helps. Let me know if there is anything else you need to know.

I would use a electric fan also, whether or not it was a single or a double.
