Ive heard of them. I just ordered an engine from them. I got the 365hp 350 for tpi. I cant tell you much about the engine since i havnt installed it yet though. I looked into them and people told me that they have gotten good service and good engines from them so I felt comfortable buying from them.

Since your close to Northern CA, see if you can find Clark Racing Engines in Red Bluff, CA. I've known this guy for 23 years. He's not that far from you and builds quality engines. I can't say about his prices, I've never had him do one for me.

I lived next to him when I was younger and remember his 6-71 blown SBC in a 23 T roadster.

89bonestockiroc,
I am interested in hearing how things go. What mods you end up with and what times you turn in the 1/4. I jsut contacted them about that motor and the 383/405hp engine.

I really want to go with the 383...but its an extra "g"

The 383 is what I wanted too, I just couldnt swing the extra money for it. I thought I better tell you that they have a core charge and shipping isnt cheap. Shipping was actually not that bad, I had mine shipped to sacramento and it cost $305. The core charge was $250 which I really wasnt expecting so I thought i'd tell you about it. They are really helpful and know their stuff when you talk to them on the phone though, thats what really made my mind up about ordering from them.

Do you have any contact info for Clark Racing Engines?

I lost touch when I moved. Last I remember he was living in red bluff. Terry Clark, Clark racing engines. Last I heard he was still working fulltime for holly suger as a plant mechanic and had the shop for a hobby. Keep an eye out at the tracks around red bluff or redding. If there's racing he won't be far.

I e-mailed the guys at GES yesterday.I have a TBI engine and Ges said that a TBI set up wont work with there engines.I think it should work because its still fuel injection.Am I right? I know the TBI set wont put out as much power as the TPI but it should still be close.
