if i can get a running sb400 longblock for about 450 how much would it cost to rebuild?? do they make rebuild kits??
I wanted to just put a 350 in my car but if i can do a 400 for just as cheap i dunno??

I'm rebuilding a 400 for my 85 right now. Just a little every weekend as money permits. Most parts will cost the same, however, you will pay a few dollars more for some parts (pistons for example) but the difference is pretty minimal. Opinions vary, but I would definatly build the 400.
