350 hp , 350 build ?
What would the first few things be for a 350 hp 350 build up ?I just picked up my buddies 85 Camaro with a "supposedly" 305 H.O , but I am an avid 350 fan. So please let me know what you think I should start with !
Would this be a good starting point ?

It already has an Edelbrock 650CFm , and I believe the performer intake...plus some ugly "beautification" stuff....

Well I am not sure yet. I found one locally that is an 88 , but I do not know the casting numbers because I haven't seen it yet. I am going to build it up outside of the car, and run the 305 until I get it where I want it...
By the way, how much of a b*tch is it to change the rear freeze plugs ?

The Performer intake is fine for a mild build, but the Edelbrock was a downgrade from the stock carb.

The carb is a Holley 650 cfm...I am new to carb. engines, having just traded my TBI truck for this Camaro, I will post engine pics soon.
So that Holley kit would be a fine place to start ? I found out from my buddy I traded that the car USED to be a V6 TPI , so there is an electric fuel pump in the tank, and he has some kind of regulator/bypass system to lower the fuel pressure. This would be fine to feed the kit I'm talking about doing ?

I wouldn't recommend the Holley kit as a good place to start.
Edelbrock Performer RPM, Comp XE268 cam, good heads and exhaust, you're looking at at least 375 HP.
The regulator would only be a good idea if it is a return style (like Mallory 4309). If it's the stock V6 in-tank fuel pump, it won't support 350 HP. Put a Walbro 255 in its place, then you'd be in good shape (as long as it's a return-style regulator).

What heads would you recomend ? I wanted Vortec heads, but was informed I would need a specific intake...so if I was to get a set of them I would need that intake and what else ?
