how hard to swap this
my car has the lg4. my uncle has a 77 blazer with a 4 bbl 350. it seems to run pretty good. he's trying to get 500 for the truck, but i could probably get the engine from him for less than that. how hard would it be to do this swap?

Not too hard. A couple of things you'll come up against are:
The 2-piece rear main seal, since the truck likely has a 168-tooth flex plate, your '87 flexplate won't fit - get a 153-tooth piece for an '82-85 Camaro.
The dipstick will be on the driver's side, and won't clear stock exhaust manifolds. Headers will fix that, though.
Don't expect this engine to be a barn burner. Trucks got low compression and small valve heads coupled with a cam designed for torque. That isn't hard to fix with pistons, aftermarket heads and cam kit.

thanks man, i needed new tires so me and a friend went to the dead end circle of his road, and i made sure that i got the most out of the tires before i changed them. i wanted to keep going with it, but the smoke started to seep into the car, i wasn't a fan of that.
the 93 seats, i got them from a local junkyard in connecticut, they're just about mint, only a couple small stains, i got the front and rears for $150.

yeah and make sure theres 3 holes fo rthe starter....when yo uput on that smaller flywheel the starter will be a inch to far away from the starter.if it dosent have the third and closes hole, youll have to either:
1.buy a expensove gear reduction starter or
2.do like i did and get a camaro starter, bolt on the one bolt that is there, and line up the starter housing on each sode evenly between tha housing and the end of the block where the tranny meets.after its lined up,mark the hole with a long punch.then take starter off, drill and tap the hole...only took me like 5 minuites.do yourself a favor and but a new tap and drill bit so i tgets done easy and fast.
