I'm trying to build a 383 for the least amount of money. I'm not cheap, I just still need money for school and isurance and other things. Anyway, can I build a 383 out of an L98 motor. I don't see why not. Please opinions are welcome. I just want to get this done before I leave home for my last 2 years of school.

you can, but must use and aftermarket crank, better off finding a 85 or older 350.

 

Well, that's good to know, because I can get one for $125 and less. Now I ust have to decide on MAF or speed density.
