That, and complete engine harness, all hoses, cables (throttle, TV, cruise), AC stuff, accessory brackets (alternator, PS, AC, etc.), engine mounts, fuel lines, radiator, and of course water and fuel pumps. Don't forget front springs, sway bar.

Basically anything that goes on the engine or between it and the chassis, and those things affected by the extra weight.

It's typically more economical to sell the V6 car and buy a factory V8 car.

five7kid is correct : It's typically more economical to sell the V6 car and buy a factory V8 car than swap in a v8 into a v6 car.

if you really want a v8, sell the v6 car & get one with a v8 in it. if you want a more powerful 6, either mod it or put in a 3.4. for more power, mod the 3.4. there are always turbos & superchargers too.

What kind of structure issues would putting a larger engine bring up for an originally v6 car??? I sold my first rotted out, half bondo POS '83 V6 camaro and picked up an '84 camaro which is in good shape, but had already had a poorly done swap. It went from the V6 to a 350 HO, with no change in anything else ( V6 wiring harness pushed back fuel lines over the top, crap everywhere, nothing hooked up) It was cheap and seemed like a pretty good deal at the time.
I've got the actual engine all set up (rewired, vacuum lines, etc) and ready to go, but what should i look at changing as far as the structure, suspension, and Drivetrain go. Don't suppose i'm lucky enough for it all to be trouble free in the future?
I currently have subframe connectors, springs, strut tower braces, and a rollcage lined up for near future installation. SHould i be thinking 'transmission, rearend, etc' instead?

The transmission had to be done to get a V8 in there. Check out Pro-Built's page above for ways to make your tranny even better.

You've already got springs. SFC's are a good idea even for V6 cars. Shocks, struts, differential are all the same between the two. Sway bar upgrades couldn't hurt.

you don't HAVE to change the tranny to get a v8 in...it just might not hold up to the power is all
