Axle/Gears: 3.42
Will This Motor Fit!
So im picking up a block from a 89 trans am...but i noticed the alternator was on the opposite side..but hes just selling me the block with no intake or pullys..my question is will all the stuff i have on mine like water pump alt...etc just bolt right up to this motor? sorry if its a dumb question was just curious thanks.

Well lets see if i can just get one question answered....Will it matter if the alternator is on the other side in this motor?

Our '87 Camaro has a '92 Camaro motor. The PO did the work.
IDK if there is a difference in Pontiac & Chevy bracket mount holes on the heads..??..
Alternator can be anywhere, as long as the pulley rotates in the propper direction.

It's only the bracketry that makes the alternator sit on the other side. If he's not giving you any of that anyway, it doesn't matter.
