ok well here is goes... first i got a 87 camaro z28 and i was lied to about what was done and sucha nd the car was pretty much a POS... so i had todo something about it... so i hunted craiglist and found a wrecked 92 6cyl for 400 bucks the car was super clean inside and out from the fire wall back. so i picked it up... i then gutted the car and and sold the motor and tranny for 400 so FREE CAR!!! :-) so i gutted everything out and then stated the swap... i cut the drive fram horn off just in front of the sway bar mount and then cut the driver front on the upper fender support where it was bent and then iremoved teh core support.(INVEST IN A SPOT WELD CUTTER!!!!) i then hacked the front of the 87 off trimed it to fit and welded everythign in... and taht took care of the damage from the wreck... i ten used the front clip from the 87 cleaned them up prepped them primered them sanded some more layed some more primer untile they were somewhat smooth... i then wet sanded and painted the front clip. i painted the engine bay black after lots and lots of sanding and it turned out really well. then i threw the front clip on. now for the go fast stuff!! the motor is a 406 full roller motor. it has eagle forged crank forged rods .030 forged pistons. over all compression is 9.8:1 the heads are ebelbrock rpm performers that have been ported to somewhere around 190cc intake and i think whey are in liek 170 stock. has 2.02 1.94 valves 600 lift springs and harland sharp 1.6 RR with 64 cc combustion chambers. the cam is about 530 over all lift with the RR and i think the duration is liek 260 intake and 280 exhaust somewhere around there... has a holley 850 DP (i know TOOO BIG!!) right now i have a modded stock dist. with a bunch of msd stuff and a holley eliminator cdi with 8.5 super conductor msd wires... but i want to upgrade! the tranny is the weak point... its a 700r4 with a tweaked on converted a stiff shitkit and some upgraded internal tranny is prolly good for 300hp and im hoping for double that... and it has a 4th gen 10 bolt sittin on stock iroc wheels. the exhuast is headman headers with a dougs headers y pipe and a full 3in exhaust with a single in singel out super 40 muffler dumped. all in all i think she turned out well and i did the full build from wrecked to on the road in 2 weeks.

i also have a 3 gauge pillar pod and a fuel pressure guage mounted on my cowl. (orderd not installed)
my future plan in the not so distant future are full msd ignition window tint 18in black knock off z06 wheels spohn crossmember mounted tourqe arm and spohn crossmember arm spohn lower control arms and panhard bar (I might go ebay brand on the lower control arms and pannhard idk) and some bolt in subframe connectors. some front drop springs and a turbo 350 when my 700r4 bites it... oh yeah and a hood cuz i dont think my 4in cowl is gonna cut it...

 

So you butchered the perfect white Camaro to fix the mangled red camaro? Wasn't there a clean title for the white one?

 

The white camaro was def not perfect... I was POS!!! It was a race car at one poin in time had a cage welded in it that was welded so poorly I could have prolly ripped it out the interior was trashed the floors and t tops were rusted bad It had about a 13 dollar paint job on it and it was worth maybe a 1000 bucks... And I think what I have now is worth alot more

more pics! lets see here... some more engine build pics, interior pics etc. i really like this car and you literelly, have the same EXACT build i was thinkin of (rpm air gap, performer heads, etc.) so im really interested. very nice job, the 850 double pump is questionable but its obviously things that can be changed

Ha thanks I don't have ne motor build pics as I built it about a year ago for another project. The interior is red which I do really like but it is pretty much perfect... No rips tears stains or anythng console is perfect dash is cracked but I'm in the market for a clean one... I'm outta town right
now but I will get some some interior pics and any oher pics u wanna see up. Also the 850 is just temperary.... I'm gonna run it for now. But I plan on a tmz stage 3 750 double pumper. They are pretty sweet. But I got lots of oher stuff to take care of b4 that.

Well I was craiglisting today as usual and found a guy parting out a hopped up thirdgen that looked like some1 put ALOT of money in at one time but looked like it had been sittin for years ne way... Got a front and rear sportline drop springs rear hotchkis sway bar and pan had bar and a pretty sweet lookin big nasty alum 10 bolt diff cover. Got it all for 200! He has alot more parts if interested and in the Houston area I will pass on the info and youncam give him a call.

well i got alot done today.. i got all the suspention parts in... along with all my guages... i swapped in the better dash i had finished up my stereo put all my interior panels in and i also bypassed my vats and finished up some electrical. i know some1 asked for some interior pics and i will snap some tomorrow now that it is all back togather. but in the mean time here is a pic of the guages. :-)

Ok guys just passing on some info that I have just learned the hard way.... RUN a stock oil pan!!! My 6 quart moroso I playin hell on trying to run a y pipe or my shorties.... So I think it's comin off and a stocker Is goin on.....
