Car: 1987 iroc-z

Engine: 5.0 305 carb

Transmission: 700r4

Axle/Gears: stock 10 bolt

truck motor

will a 1985 truck 350 bolt up to my 1987 700r4 trannsmission that had a 305 on it?

yes, but you need an '85 flexplate, you can't use the '87 305 flexplate. You can use the '87 305 torque converter.

Your distributor will fit the engine.
