stroker swap implications
I'm in the process of planning an engine swap for 91 Camaro RS from 305 TBI to 383 Stroker. The engine builder says it does not support EGR, so I assume there is not port in the intake for an EGR valve. Is there a way to defeat the EGR logic and/or plumbing that will still pass emissions? The car will be antique by my states definition of the word in 5 years and it may well take me that long to finish bodywork and engine swap so it may be a mute point. Are there any other gotcha's that anyone can prepare me for?

A tailpipe test probably isn't going to be done under any conditions where the EGR would be active. If it's a visual test, you can just bolt up all the EGR plumbing and maybe burn a chip to eliminate the EGR tests.
